The Sealed Room
Who is in the room: you, her, and nobody else who needs to be. What we hold and why.
What we keep
- The account: an email address, your first name, birth date and gender, a hashed copy of the password, and whatever you add on your spot page.
- Your chats, and the notes each host writes so that she can recall you, including which views you chose.
- Two cookies: one keeps you signed in, the other notes that you cleared the adults-only gate.
- Payment records: the amount paid and the transaction reference. Card numbers never reach us, since we do not take cards.
- Standard server logs, which are wiped after a short while.
Why
Three plain reasons: the chat must run, the rules must be policed, and the doors must stay open. Your lines go to a language model, either on hardware we operate or at a supplier bound to that single task, and through an automatic safety filter. Nobody buys them, and no advertiser sees them.
Counting visitors
A single plain counter shows how many people came and roughly from where. It cannot see what you wrote.
Your choices
Each chat has controls for the host's notes, for taking a copy and for clearing the conversation. Deleting the whole account takes a message from its own email address. Where your country's law gives you more rights, ask and they apply.
